GREENVILLE, S.C. – Engenius is partnering with the Clemson University Small Business Development Center to launch a seminar series to serve small business.  The seminars, starting January 24, will focus on a wide range of web marketing.

The first seminar, Focused Web Marketing, is scheduled for Tuesday, January 24, from 9am-Noon.  Four additional seminars have been announced running through May that include: “Not Another E-mail Newsletter”, “My Business Really Needs Face+ and Twitbook?”, “Unconventional Advertising That You Can Like”, and “Blogging to Increase Your Bottom Line”.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with an organization that assisted our company at an early age,” said Chris Manley, Managing Partner.  “Our goal through these seminars is for small business leaders to bring focus to their marketing and ultimately do more to grow their business with the limited time they have.”

Engenius awards grants to two local nonprofits

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Engenius has awarded two grants to local nonprofits through its annual competitive Engenius Grants program.  The 2011 recipients are Camp Opportunity and the Center for Community Services.  “Effective marketing is crucial to the success of nonprofits in today’s world,” said Chris Manley, Managing Partner.  “Engenius is proud to support those nonprofits in our community making a huge difference in peoples’ lives.”

Engenius Grants include a fully developed website, professional logo design, web hosting, and marketing consultation.  Additionally, Greenville HD partnered with Engenius to provide an HD video for Camp Opportunity as a part of this year’s grant program.

The value of these grants is over $8,400.  Since January 2010, Engenius has supported Upstate nonprofits with over $27,000 in sponsorship, in-kind, and monetary support.

Camp Opportunity, founded in 1979, provides safe, loving, fun, and educational supportive services to abused and neglected children in Greenville County, offering respite from the storm of their lives.  Their new site is at www.campoppsc.org.
